After the wreck

The first hour decides most of a claim. Photograph the scene from four corners, then both vehicles, then every damaged panel, then both plates, then the other driver’s licence and insurance card. Call the police even for a small collision. Say only what you are certain of, and never that you are fine. Do not sign a blank authorization for a tow, a shop or a carrier. Then call an adviser, before the adjuster inspects and before anyone starts the repair.
